Central mailbox
A clear overview of all your inbound and outbound messages (fax, SMS and / or voicemail) in your e-mail client. |
Server and client integration
iXware is a stand alone e-mail server (SMTP) which comes with its own client, the iXware Workspace. iXware is however most often fully integrated with existing e-mail applications such as MS Exchange/ Outlook or Lotus Domino/Notes. The client extensions make sending fax and SMS as easy as sending an e-mail. Single user management is possible through Active Directory Support (LDAP). |
Delayed sending
iXware allows the user to send messages for delivery at any later date and time. |
Prioritity
Messages can be sent with different levels of priority. Low priority sending can be used to take advantage of low cost telco hours. |
Archiving of messages
Inbound and outbound messages can be archived and retrieved with the search function in the e-mail client. iXware's Archiving Module can write messages and deliver data to any file on the customer's network. But iXware can also deliver these to archiving applications such as Hummingbird, Documentum, Share Point Portal, DocuShare , ScanFlowStore, etc.
Routing of incoming messages
All incoming messages are routed by the iXware server to the personal inbox, mailbox and/or printer, ensuring privacy. iXware can retrieve data from the Active Directory (LDAP) for routing if required.
Distribution lists and delivery reports
One of iXware's features is the possibility to create mailing lists to an unlimited number of recipients. The distribution lists can contain mixed transport means. E-mail, fax and SMS recipients can be included in a single distribution list. |
Billing
iXware's Billing Module delivers Call Detail Records (CDR's) to billing applications. Service providers can charge companies, departments, users etc. for the actual use of iXware in any business model.
Multi site/tenant structure
Different operating companies or divisions can use a single iXware server, in single or redundant configurations. Each user group can be assigned its own 'site' within iXware. Services, rights, configurations, etc. can be defined and protected per site. This makes iXware also most suitable for ASP offerings.
