iXware Unified Messaging, Fax & SMS server software

There are three different ways in which iXware can be deployed by organizations to optimize message traffic.

1. Integration with existing e-mail applications
   iXware can be deployed to modularly add fax, SMS, voicemail and/or telex functionality to existing e-mail applications such as MS Exchange/Outlook, Lotus Notes/ Domino or other e-mail servers. iXware extensions are available for MS Outlook and Lotus Notes to enhance ease of use. For more information please refer to the specific flyers about iXware's integration with MS Exchange/Outlook or Lotus Domino/Notes, available form your Authorized iXware Reseller. iXware can integrate with any e-mail server through SMTP. The integration with existing e-mail servers comes standard with any iXware Business or Small Business Server and is always non intrusive. Through iXware's support of the Active Directory (LDAP) and integration through SMTP no software is required on the e-mail server for the integration.
   
2. iXware next to existing e-mail applications
   iXware is sometimes deployed next to existing e-mail applications, without integrating the two. Every iXware Business and Small Business Server comes with its own client (iXware Workspace) and webclient (iXweb). In these cases, iXware is deployed as a stand alone solution to offer users fax, SMS, voicemail and/or telex functionality. With iXware's own clients users can send and receive these messages from their desktop.
   
3. iXware as total unified messaging server
   iXware is a full fledged e-mail server. iXware can therefore be deployed as the single solution for all message traffic (email, fax, SMS, voicemail and/or telex). Every iXware Business or Small Business Server can be deployed in this way. For this type of iXware deployment, desktop users can work with the iXware clients - iXware Workspace and iXweb - or with any POP3 client such as MS Outlook.
